The Story of Alyssa Ferguson
Alyssa Ferguson was a joyful 15-year-old girl whose remarkable courage, faith, and desire to help others inspired Fort Bend ISD to name Alyssa Ferguson Elementary School in her honor.
When Alyssa was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 12, her selfless wish was not for herself, but to dig a water well in Africa through World Vision so a village could have clean drinking water. Her wish resulted in "Alyssa's Well" in Burkina Faso, bringing clean water to over 500 people.
Today, Alyssa's World Changers Fund continues her legacy by building clean water wells, supporting school grants, and helping children in need locally and globally.
